Meet Our Nail Instructor, Firyuza Manapova

Firyuza is a licensed nail technician, esthetician, eyelash technician, and cosmetologist. She has been active in the beauty industry since 2015. As a graduate of the International Institute of Cosmetology, she is excited to provide quality training to the future generation of nail professionals. Firyuza is creative and professional about her craft and has established herself as a successful beautician by focusing on special occasion hairstyles, lash extensions, and Eastern European-style manicures. She has experience providing quality nail services to clients and is dedicated to remaining up-to-date on the latest nail services, technologies, designs, and trends.

FAQs About Our Nail Technician Program

Is financial aid available for this program?

Unfortunately, due to the short length of this program, the Department of Education does not permit financial aid for this program. You can look at alternative funding solutions such as scholarships or a loan from your bank or credit union. Our school offers a split payment option, as well.

Will I be able to apply for a Nail Technician License in the state of Connecticut?

Completing all requirements of our 100-hour program lead to a CT Nail Technician License.

Why should I choose this nail technician program and not an online course?

Our Nail Technician Program is approved by the Connecticut Department of Health and prepares you to sit for the state licensure exam. We combine theory instruction with supervised, practical hands-on instruction that you cannot receive from an online course. Besides that, we are committed to each student’s success. You can benefit from our experienced instructors and innovative curriculum. Students can also take advantage of our extensive career services.

Do I need to be a high school graduate to apply?

All students enrolling in the program must be high school graduates, have a GED certificate, or meet our homeschool requirements.

By submitting this form, the attendee and their parent or guardian understand and accept the following terms and conditions of the Art in Makeup Experience Camp herein provided:

1. Camp will be on a first come first served basis.
2. The payment and submission of this form enrolls the attendee to the selected camp session.
3. Withdrawal of enrollment prior the start of the camp shall deduct 25% from the full amount provided to be returned to the attendee or guardian.
4. Should the attendee withdraw or not show up anytime within the period of the enrolled camp no refund will be issued.

9. The attendee and/or parent or guardian authorizes the International Institute of Cosmetology to seek medical treatment in the event of an accident or sickness. The camp’s staff will notify the emergency contact of the emergency as soon as possible.
15. International Institute of Cosmetology reserves the right to cancel, amend or alter activities accordingly in the event of unanticipated situations.
