Our beauty school opened in Wethersfield, CT, in 2002, and since then, thousands of students have successfully graduated and become beauty professionals throughout Connecticut and beyond. Our Nail Technician Program tends to fill up quickly, and we want you to be part of the fun! Nail Technician Program Schedule

This program is offered at our beautiful new campus in Wethersfield, CT. It is a 100-hour program that meets Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. If you are interested in this program, we encourage you to begin the enrollment process as soon as possible because classes fill up quickly. The next class begins April 27, 2026.

Meet Our Nail Instructor, Firyuza Manapova

Firyuza is a licensed nail technician, esthetician, eyelash technician, and cosmetologist. She has been active in the beauty industry since 2015. As a graduate of the International Institute of Cosmetology, she is excited to provide quality training to the future generation of nail professionals. Firyuza is creative and professional about her craft and has established herself as a successful beautician by focusing on special occasion hairstyles, lash extensions, and Eastern European-style manicures. She has experience providing quality nail services to clients and is dedicated to remaining up-to-date on the latest nail services, technologies, designs, and trends.

FAQs About Our Nail Technician Program

Is financial aid available for this program?

Unfortunately, due to the short length of this program, the Department of Education does not permit financial aid for this program. You can look at alternative funding solutions such as scholarships or a loan from your bank or credit union. Our school offers a split payment option, as well.

Will I be able to apply for a Nail Technician License in the state of Connecticut?

Completing all requirements of our 100-hour program prepares you to sit for the state exam, so you can pursue your Nail Technician License.

Why should I choose this nail technician program and not an online course?

Our Nail Technician Program is approved by the Connecticut Department of Health and prepares you to sit for the state licensure exam. We combine theory instruction with supervised, practical hands-on instruction that you cannot receive from an online course. Besides that, we are committed to each student’s success. You can benefit from our experienced instructors and innovative curriculum. Students can also take advantage of our extensive career services.

Do I need to be a high school graduate to apply?

All students enrolling in the program must be high school graduates, have a GED certificate, or meet our homeschool requirements.

Begin Your Enrollment Process Today

First, see if you meet the admissions requirements for our nail technician program:

Be above the age of 17 on the enrollment date.
Complete a student application.
Pay a non-refundable application fee of $50.
Must be a high school graduate, have obtained a General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or meet our school’s homeschool requirement.
Submit a copy of a high school diploma/official transcripts or equivalent, GED certificate, or homeschool certification.
Submit a copy of all of the following: Proof of date of birth (driver’s license or birth certificate) and verification of Social Security number.
