In compliance with the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Science (NACCAS) standards and policies, the International Institute of Cosmetology must provide you with information prior to enrollment. NACCAS requires an institution to meet or exceed the following measures of student success: Graduation rate: 50%; Pass rate on state licensing examination: 70%; and Placement rate of graduates: 60%
Definitions:
Placement Rate – Of those graduates from the graduation cohort who are legally authorized to practice (e.g. licensed) who are eligible for placement, the percentage who were placed by October 31,2025.
Graduation Rate – Based on all students scheduled to graduate from their program in 2024. Of those students scheduled to graduate in 2024, the percentage that graduated by October 31, 2025. The graduation rate does not reflect the students who may have transferred out and graduated due in part to the training provided by the IIC; nor does it show those who may have graduated their program at the School after the designated reporting period. A student is not considered a graduate even if they have completed all education requirements if they have an outstanding balance. Additionally, some students are considered exempted from this rate if they meet the reasons listed in the most recent NACCAS annual report directions under “exempted students”.
Licensure Rate – Of the graduates from the graduation cohort who sat for all parts of their required state licensure exam by October 31, 2025, the percentage that passed all required parts of the state exam by October 31, 2025.
This statistical information is calculated by using accumulative data that is verified by an internal audit and submitted to NACCAS annually.
I previously graduated from IIC in 2017 from the aesthetics program. I returned to the school because of how well they treat their students and the education I received was amazing.
I had an amazing experience at IIC. I've learned so much in such a short period of time and couldn't be happier with Ms.Jessica as my educator.
